ABOUT ANNIKA

Annika graduated from San Diego State University with her BS in Nursing and a minor in Leadership Development. As a new graduate, she wanted to develop her novice skills in an acute care hospital setting, while also serving her community through volunteering. Annika started her nursing journey in the Main Telemetry Care Unit and recently transferred to Oncology at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center in Orange County, CA.
Annika is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau and currently serves as the Director of Programs for the Gamma Gamma chapter. She also continues to be an advocate for mental health, nursing wellness, and student mentorship.
Annika is attending Loma Linda University's Ph.D. Nursing program. Her future plan is to become a nurse researcher and educator. She hopes to directly improve healthcare and patient outcomes by preparing future nurses to become nurse leaders.
Annika stands for providing safe, efficient, and evidence-based care for all persons. She believes in providing holistic, culturally appropriate, and genuine care to all patients.
